When we were first beginning to follow new rules and instructions, we all made mistakes. We were not familiar with them yet, so mistakes were normal. The same is true for these Border Collie siblings.

They were only six weeks old, so there was really some trial and error. At this age, these puppies cared about nothing other than playing and having a good time.

If it seems familiar, it is because we have been in a position identical to it in the past. We just had to learn how to be obedient.

Their mom took all five of them for a stroll on the farm to determine if they had learned what she had taught them. The image of the black and white bodies scrambling after their mother was wonderful.

The puppies were thrilled to be outside, so they took pleasure in their surroundings. They wanted to explore on their own, but their mother would not let them.

They naturally listened to her. Dogs are naturally obedient, thus their mother had this advantage over them. Everyone stopped and looked at her to see if she was okay after she ordered them to.

The objective was for them to stop, which they did. They definitely passed with flying colors, even if some lay on the ground and others sat. These youngsters were proving to be smart and compliant learners, and their mother was so pleased.

Mom issued the go signal, and everyone nearly tripped over one another. As anticipated, something near a tree captivated their attention, and their mother was forced to bring them back.

When the mother delivered the instruction to stop, the puppies retreated and everyone remained still. At that age, they had a long way to go, but the future looks bright.

Cheers, puppies, to being excellent at following commands! We have no doubt that you would excel in them.
