Tigger is a dog with ectrodactyly. It is an unusual congenital deformity where his front legs are about six inches long and resemble lobster claws. This condition also causes walking to be painful and odd for Trigger.

The dog can only walk slowly since he relies solely on his back legs. Eve Good, Tigger’s foster mother, said that the dog is affectionate and loves to throw himself into anyone’s laps. The dog is adorable, and everyone falls for his charms.

Eve and her partner currently live with the dog in their home. And aside from Tigger, they also have five other dogs. They spend most of their time around the canine, and they never forget to express their love and support for him.

They eventually notice that the dog’s health’s deteriorating and it gets to the point where the dog gets easily tired just from a short walk. Medical experts believe that if the Tigger’s shoulder is left as it is, it will eventually dislocate. They went on to say that Tigger suffers from arthritis.

If he does not undergo surgery, the dog’s body would suffer more. According to Sarah Ostrin, a veterinary physical therapist, the dog may only have a little time left to live if he doesn’t get treatment anytime soon. That is why Eve decided to work with Sarah and Jennifer Warnock, a vet surgeon, for Tigger’s operation.

Eve has also set up a GoFundMe account to pay for the dog’s medical expenses. Fortunately, the procedure proceeded without a hitch, and Ostrin assured everyone that the Pitbull was on his way to recovery. Ectrodactyly is a rare condition, and many dogs who have it usually don’t last very long.

The majority of them develop severe arthritis, which often leads to paralysis. Tigger is lucky that he managed to survive despite all the hardships. However, he needs to use a prosthesis and a wheeled cart to help him walk.

Nonetheless, experts believe that the dog will be able to run and move around normally in no time.
