A dog named Bean was rescued by firefighters from the Kamloops Fire Department (KFD) after it got its head stuck in a recliner at their home in British Columbia, Canada.

KFD informed its Facebook followers about the incident involving Bean. It was definitely meant to serve as a warning but the fire department said it in jest. KFD stated in their post that they no longer rescue cats entangled in trees. Instead, they occasionally rescue dogs that become trapped in reclining sofas.

Upon learning about the situation, it was Bean’s mother that contacted the fire department. The dog’s owner told the rescuers over the phone that she could not move the couch without injuring Bean.

The team rushed to Bean’s residence to provide the necessary assistance. According to the mother of the dog, the fire crews were incredibly gentle and compassionate during the rescue. She stated that the fire crews guaranteed Bean would not sustain additional injuries.

When this gesture of goodwill went viral, netizens praised the fire crews for their excellent performance. The majority of replies lauded the firefighters for going above and above for Bean and her distressed parent.

People referred to the firefighters as great heroes and gentlemen since their actions inspired them. After saving the dog, Bean’s mother examined the animal for injuries. Aside from small bruises that could be addressed at home, Bean did not sustain any injuries.

The following day, Bean’s mother updated her Facebook status with a photo of the puppy lounging on the couch. Bean appeared calm and composed.

When the fire department saw the photograph, they remarked on how adorable Bean is. Additionally, they advised the dog and his mother to proceed with increased caution.

We’re glad that you are now okay, Bean! Be very careful where you put your head next time!
