To set the planet on fire is exciting but setting a house on fire is the total opposite. Two wicked dogs may have intended to perform the former, but they did the latter instead. Luckily, no one was injured, so everyone can now chuckle about the incident.

A nosy dog accidentally set fire to a house in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The unfortunate event was captured on a surveillance camera.

A nine-month-old puppy named Kahuna began smelling an ironing board with interest. Unfortunately, he knocked it over, along with several other nearby objects straight into the heating device. One could sense his regret and fear as he hastily retreated from the scenario.

Paige, his furry sibling, also grew intrigued and began sniffing the mess. Things began to heat up in the area until they began to catch fire. The two mischievous dogs, on the other hand, remained unconcerned by the spreading fire until it became quite too hot for them to just remain in the room where the fire was happening.

Fortunately, the fire department responded promptly. The fire was quickly extinguished before it posed a significant threat, and the two dogs that were the cause of the house fire were properly evacuated. Now, the video clip is used to warn the public about the dangers of house fires caused by naughty pets.

At least three feet should separate flammable materials from any heating or heat-producing appliance. Homeowners should install smoke alarms or ensure that the ones they have are operational. Similar escape tactics as those in the video should also be available.

This type of accident might occur at any time. With unsupervised mischievous dogs, the odds are slightly higher of this happening. Simply follow the fire department’s advice to avoid all of these, or watch the funny video of Kahuna and Paige to refresh your memory.
