It’s quite sad to think that there are countless dogs out there that are living as strays. Most of these dogs were abandoned by their families and have no idea how to survive alone. Most of them end up becoming emaciated and too weak to even walk and scavenge for food.
A Pit Bull named Arugula was found by rescuers in an alley. She was wrapped in a purple blanket and had a very defeated look on her face. When rescuers found Arugula, she was so weak that she can’t even lift her head to look at her rescuers.
Realizing how urgent the situation was for Arugula, the rescuers from One Tail At A Time rushed her to the veterinarian. Arugula was so skinny that you can clearly see all her bones that were sticking out from under her skin. Arugula would have certainly died alone in the alley if she wasn’t found.
Thankfully, after getting emergency treatment, Arugula was finally stable. Arugula’s journey to recovery started when she was rescued by the amazing rescuers at One Tail At A Time. Although Arugula’s recovery is slow, she’s finally in a safe place where she’s loved.
After getting emergency treatment, Arugula was fostered by an amazing family who worked so hard to help her recover. They didn’t just help Arugula gain her strength back but they also worked on helping Arugula with her confidence. Slowly but surely, Arugula started to come out of her shell and show her sweet personality.
It’s truly incredible to watch Arugula’s recovery. From a dog that was abandoned and left to die alone in an alley, Arugula blossomed into a beautiful Pit Bull who’s ready to become a part of someone’s family.
