Who would have thought that dogs can’t only be a pet but also a supervisor? And who said dogs are just playful and mischievous and cannot be serious? This dog from Guiyang City, China is solid proof that even they can turn from friendly and cuddly to strict and serious.
In China, education is said to be their economic weapon. Chinese students study for ten hours a day even as a child. At an early age, they are already taught to be the best at whatever they do.
The competition in education in China is very high. That’s why parents are strict with their children when it comes to academics. If students fail to achieve high grades in their school graduation exams, they will not be sent to the university.
Students are expected to stay at home, do their homework, and study hard. Some parents even get tutors for their children, make the kids attend classes in music and art, and let them join sports clubs on weekends.
With that being said, it’s not surprising why this Chinese dad trained their family dog to keep a close look at his daughter during her study session. Aside from the reasons above, the father decided to let the dog watch over the kid because he once caught her holding her phone instead of pen and papers.
You know how kids roll these days. They adore their phones so much that they forget their chores and responsibilities. This Chinese girl was not an exception. But ever since she got a strict supervisor pooch staring right at her during her study sessions, she could barely touch the gadget.
The pooch was just as strict as her parents. With his paws on the desk, like how his dad trained him, he kept monitoring the girl’s movement, looking all suspicious at every move. The canine supervision seems to be effective.
