In a residential area in Seoul, South Korea, three sisters live in an apartment. They go to work every morning and come back home before sundown. Since they work in different places, they don’t get home at the same time.
One day, when one of the sisters walked home, a little brown dog approached her. Since it looked cute and friendly, the woman greeted it and gave it a friendly pat on the head. But when the woman continued walking, the dog kept following her.
The dog stayed outside when she entered her apartment. She thought it was nice to have a companion walk her home. She told her sisters about her pleasant encounter with the dog. Since it was a stray dog, she didn’t expect to see it again.
The dog won’t leave the sisters
But when she and her sisters went out the next morning to go to work, the dog greeted them at the door. They were all surprised but at the same time delighted with the thoughtfulness of the dog. The dog accompanied them until they rode a bus to work.
One by one, the sisters went home later that afternoon. The dog greeted each of them and accompanied each of the sisters until they reached home. They all wondered why the dog kept following them.
When the same thing happened in the next succeeding days, the sisters felt annoyed with the dog. They couldn’t go out in peace anymore. The dog kept hugging their legs and jump on them every time it had a chance.
But soon, the sisters learned to accept that the dog wanted to be with them. They even worried about where the dog spends the night during cold and rainy days. They decided to give it a makeshift shelter outside their house. Now, they enjoy each other’s company even more.
