Going on adventures is something that many dogs love to do. They enjoy exploring their environment, sniffing around, and discovering new things. However, sometimes, they get a little too adventurous that they instantly regret their expedition.

Recently, three adventurous dogs wandered into an oil company’s property in Romania. The pups were enjoying checking things out until they got stuck and got their bodies covered with the thick and gummy tar. It was too late when they realized that they couldn’t get out on their own. So, they started crying, hoping to get help.

Thankfully, it didn’t take long for the employees to hear the distressed dogs. They rushed over and quickly got the pups out. However, the three puppies’ bodies were still coated in tar. Knowing that it wouldn’t be easy to get the dogs completely cleaned, the employees called a local animal shelter for help.

The Barking Mad Dog Rescue staff soon came and met the pups at a local vet. They worked together with the veterinary assistants to get the tar the dogs’ fur. The process of bathing and removing the asphalt was very uncomfortable. Despite that, the puppies remained calm as if they understood what everyone was trying to do.

After several hours of work, the tar was removed entirely from the puppies’ fur. The adventurous dogs were back to their playful, energetic selves. Jess, one of the volunteers at the shelter, said that the pups were starving. They ate several small meals during the entire process.

After getting cleaned, the vet checked the puppies and learned that they are around 2 ½ months old and are all healthy. The shelter staff named the playful pups Jasmine, Jeremy, and Jason. When they reach four months old, they will be headed to their forever homes. But for now, the staff members of the rescue center are happy to watch as they grow.
