Dogs are the best kind of friends any man could ask for, but the reality is, plenty of them are without a home. Fortunately, kind humans still exist, and this story will tell you so.

This former military pilot David Tan decided to start a new life and moved to the US from Singapore. David served as a military pilot for 14 years, but when he moved to the USA, it’s when he started flying dogs.

David says that it all started when he read in a newspaper about a dog needing air transport. He contacted the rescue organization and offered his services. After that, he was hooked!

Pilots N Paws connect dog owners who need to rehome their pets with volunteer pilots all over the country who are willing to transport the animals to their forever homes.

The rescue organization called Pilots N Paws has been working with David for some time now. To date, David has flown over 400 rescued animals, and he’s still going!

David continues to fly rescued animals to their forever homes. It doesn’t look like this gig will end anytime soon, and that thought makes us happy.

He says it’s worth it, and even if he shoulders the cost of flying the furry ones himself, it doesn’t matter. Seeing the dogs happy and healthy in their new homes is all that matters.

Even with his impressive military background, David says he merely provides the transportation part. The real work, he claims, is done by volunteers in these animal rescue organizations like Pilots N Paws.

If you’re looking for a feel-good story today, this is it! Dogs are truly amazing creatures, and with people like David Tan around, they have a chance at a better life.

Mad props to all of you, you guys make this world a better place to live in!
